Upgrading from 0.2.4
Since 0.3.1 the app is signed with a new release key, so Android will not install it over 0.2.4.
Uninstall 0.2.4 first, then install this one. Uninstalling removes the app's local chats,
runtime and settings; export anything you need from the workspace first.
Updating from 0.3.1 or later works in place and keeps everything.
What's new in 0.3.6
- Google Drive backup: Settings → Workspace → Google Drive → Connect, sign in to your own Google account, and every artifact is copied into an "OpenCode Artifacts" folder in your Drive. Later backups only upload what changed. The app can only see the files it creates. See the privacy policy.
- Delete all data now also disconnects Google Drive and clears saved prompts, pinned chats and agent settings.
0.3.5
- Projects: group chats into projects from the chip row above your chats. New chats started in a project stay there, and any chat can be moved from its menu.
- Attach from +: take a photo, pick photos or files, paste from the clipboard, mention a workspace file, or start a command or shell line.
- Export everything: Settings → Workspace saves one ZIP with every chat (JSON and readable Markdown), every artifact with all its versions, and your memory files.
0.3.4
- Reliable first install: the pinned opencode runtime now downloads from our own mirror, with npm as a fallback. Both are checked against the same SHA-256, so every install gets exactly the same opencode.
0.3.3
- Export artifacts as Markdown, PDF (save or print), a standalone HTML page, plain text, or the rendered SVG of a diagram, and save or share each one.
- No setup to start chatting: the app opens on your chats with a free model already chosen. Connect accounts later in Settings, or switch models inside a chat.
- Cleaner chat list: no model card, temporary chat is a header toggle, and each chat shows a tinted initial.
- Reorganized Settings: agent options grouped together, segmented theme and text size, server controls always visible, and a separate danger zone.
0.3.2
- Artifacts: ask for a page, app, game, chart, Mermaid diagram, SVG or document and the agent builds one self-contained file you can preview in a locked-down sandbox, switch versions, copy, share or save.
- Tool approvals that really ask: shell commands and file edits pause for Allow once / Allow always / Deny (switch in Settings). Artifacts are written without asking.
- Chat: load earlier messages in long chats, queue a message while a reply runs, branch from any reply, per-reply token and cost line, and a context meter with Compact.
- Saved prompts in the
/ list, Remember this on your messages, and remote MCP connectors you can add by URL.
- Fixes: form questions show the question instead of a raw key, model rows name their provider, New chat is labelled for TalkBack.
0.3.1
- Web search that just works: the agent searches the web without a consent question in every chat (switch in Settings → Agent safety).
- Deep research: a new Research agent and
/research command search several sources, read them and write a report with numbered citations.
- Server stop and restart fixed: stopping the server used to leave it running, and each restart started another copy.
- Custom OpenAI-compatible providers show their models immediately after saving.
- Picking a
/ or @ suggestion puts the cursor after it.
- Settings switches toggle from the whole row and read correctly with TalkBack.
Also includes everything from 0.3.0: redesigned chat with model and agent pickers, slash commands, @file mentions, voice input, Markdown with code highlighting, session tools (fork, compact, undo, diff, share), OpenCode Go, launcher shortcuts, a Quick Settings tile and background notifications.
